Day 1, Sunday - Welcome to Halifax
Accommodation: Muir Hotel
Enjoy a day or more in Nova Scotia's capital city prior to beginning your DreamDrive Vacation tour. You will check in to the Muir Hotel, Halifax’s first five-star hotel and enjoy all the luxury that is “born of this place”. Feel free to explore the city by bike, paddle board or kayak.
Discover the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market, the oldest continuously operating farmers’ market in North America, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and Halifax’s seafaring history through exhibits at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic which include displays on the city’s link to the Titanic disaster.
Take a stroll along Halifax’s waterfront, 1 of the world’s longest downtown boardwalks. End at the timber-frame & stone warehouses of Historic Properties, originally built to safeguard booty captured by legalised pirates called privateers, and grab a spot on one of many patios or find a spot inside a pub to take in live local music.
In the evening get acquainted with Dream Drive staff and fellow guests during a welcome reception. We will also conduct a tour briefing at the reception.
